  1. Don't you mean "January 2014"? Or is this proscriptive? As always, an interesting list. I've liked what I heard of eh Thee Oh Sees; there is a great live You Tube of one of their shows at SWxSW, I se that Roy got some memorial plays, which is deserved. I did same. Re: #6: have you come to terms with Derek? Last, I could spend a year with nothing but Coltrane and feel satisfied.

  2. Yes you caught a mistake. I still can not come to terms with Derek. I think that is a good thing, his playing either keeps my ears on edge or my mind too confused to listen. I have been trying to listen to my Coltrane all the way through. Actually, I have been filling in the small vinyl cracks I have with my collection. So much great stuff from him.
